Mediation and Arbitration

Often times, alternative dispute resolution, which includes mediation and/or arbitration, can provide a flexible, cost efficient, accelerated alternative for the resolution of your dispute. Alternative dispute resolution, known as “ADR,” can be undertaken before a lawsuit is filed or during the litigation process. Donelson Ciancio & Goodwin, P.C. has extensive knowledge and expertise in ADR techniques in both litigation and private settings. We provide ADR services to individuals and business entities that are engaged in litigation or are otherwise interested in resolving disputes that may arise.

In addition to advocating on behalf of our clients in the ADR setting, Daniel T. Goodwin, a shareholder in the firm, serves as mediator and arbitrator for third party disputes. In these instances, Mr. Goodwin is hired by both parties in a dispute to assist with a resolution of the matter. Serving as an arbitrator and mediator gives Mr. Goodwin a unique insight on the ADR process when advocating on behalf of the firm’s civil litigation clients. Cynthia Ciancio and Kathryn Laughlin are also certified mediators and mediate in family law disputes.
